Current LIBRARY Volunteer Openings:
Adult Volunteers needed – Monday, April 22 1:30pm – 4:30pm for DIY TYE DYE. Volunteers needed to Set up, Tear down, Assist with craft
Adult Volunteers needed – Friday, April 26 1:30pm – 5:30pm I SURVIVED! WOULD YOU? Ages 6-12; Set up, Tear down, Assist with different stations
Summer Reading Kick off day at the Alpha Park Library Tuesday, June 4, 2024 from 3pm to 7pm. Volunteer times can be scheduled in 1, 2, 3, or 4 hour increments. Needs include manning an information table, handing out popcorn, giving directions, crowd control, craft assistance, and more! This is a fun day with lots of little ones and parents attending. Join the fun as we encourage all ages to keep reading during the summer.
Summer Reading program assistants at Alpha Park Library. Throughout the summer we offer programs that volunteers can assist with. Needs include program set up and tear down, registration check off, crowd control, craft assistance, and more. Coming Soon: a program list with volunteer times/dates.
Library & Park Clean Up Day, Sunday June 9, 2024 at 9am in Alpha Park. This is the day after Pool Days and we gather together to clean up the Alpha Park and Pool grounds. Open to ALL AGES!
TEEN VOLUNTEERS
Weekly Volunteer in Youth Services – Teens Ages 13+
A library volunteer in Youth Services may be asked to assist in many different ways including shelving books or shelf reading, cleaning toys, sorting, preparing crafts, or program set up/ tear down.
