RFP for Library Digital Sign

The Alpha Park Public Library is currently accepting bid proposals for a new exterior digital sign. Please use the formal RFP Digital Sign file for details on how to apply.

Q: Is the goal to seek the lowest possible bid or to choose the best $40,000 option?

A: We are required to accept the lowest responsible bidder that meets our specifications.

All questions about web based platforms or connectivity with cellular plans:

The Alpha Park Public Library is bordered by the Peoria International Airport and the Army National Guard Base. Due to being so close to those two entitites, cell reception in this area is extremely poor.

Q: Do you know the size of the digital board there now?

A: Digital board: 2ft x 9ft

Sign: 4ft x 10ft

Pedestal/base: 3ft wide, 3.5ft tall, 6.25 inches deep

Looking at the sign from the side, the two signs are 8 inch wide that sandwich together with a 4 inch open air gap between.
