Join us for a one night class on the basics of Microsoft Word. Whether you’re typing a resume, a letter to your friend, or a report for club or class, Microsoft Word has the tools to create it quickly and even beautifully. This class will teach you how to start a new document, save it, change the text, add pictures and generally format a page. This class is limited to 7 people. Please contact the Information Desk at 309-697-3822, ext.13 to register.

Friday, February 17 6:30 – 9:00 p.m.

Help us celebrate all that is Stephanie Plum with a night full of fun, food and surprises! We’ll enjoy some of Stephanie’s favorite treats (Cheese Doodles, Tasty Cakes, chicken, pizza, etc.), discuss the movie “One For The Money” (in theatres January 27, 2012), play games, and maybe blow up a few cars! Book trivia will determine if you’re on Team Ranger or Team Moroney and everyone will watch to see who the real Grandma Mazur is! Tickets for the Evanovich Extravaganza are $5.00 and go on sale January 23. Only 40 tickets will be available and may be purchased at the Reference Desk on or after January 23rd. If you’re a Stephanie Plum fan, this is “One for the Money” and you won’t want to miss it!
