Alpha Park Library’s Teen services include a dedicated Young Adult collection of fiction written specifically for readers for readers 12 and up, found on the first floor of the library, near the computer room. Audio books of many of these popular titles can be found with the adult audio book collection.

Alpha Park also hosts programming specifically for grades 7-12 monthly. Teen programs are a great place to make new friends and enjoy activities year-round.

Interested volunteers who would like to sign up for hours in the Youth Services Department should sign up as soon as possible. You will be given information about a brief training meeting. Volunteers must be entering 7th grade or older. Please call 697-3822 x22 for more information.

Submit your best interpretation of the summer reading club theme, It’s Showtime at your Library!, on a bookmark by May 20! A winner will be chosen, and their work will be reproduced as the official summer reading club bookmark.

Are you a master chef in the making? Use your talents to create a popcorn themed snack that will wow the crowd. Our judges will select a winner in each of 4 age groups. Winners will receive a $15 gift card, golden spatula, and bragging rights.

Disc "Frisbee" Golf Available for Check Out 
Get outside this summer and play a round of Frisbee Golf! Alpha Park has a new course, there's a small course at Limestone High School, and there are many more around the area.  Try before you buy -- The library has two sets of discs available for check out for 3 weeks.
