Alpha Park Library’s Teen services include a dedicated Young Adult collection of fiction written specifically for readers for readers 12 and up, found on the first floor of the library, near the computer room. Audio books of many of these popular titles can be found with the adult audio book collection.

Alpha Park also hosts programming specifically for grades 7-12 monthly. Teen programs are a great place to make new friends and enjoy activities year-round.

Summer Volunteers @ Alpha Park Library
Interested volunteers who would like to sign-up for volunteer hours in the children’s department should sign up as soon as possible. You will be given information about a volunteer training meeting. Please call 697-3822, ext. 22 for more information. Volunteers must be entering 7th grade or older.

APL Summer Park Program
Summer Park Days will run June 5 – August 4. 
The Alpha Park Library and the Village of Bartonville have teamed up to bring special events to the Alpha Park weekdays this summer!  Park visitors will be able to check out equipment like puzzles, games, balls, books and much more Monday-Friday from 9:30 am-1:30 pm.  (Equipment must be turned in to attendant by 1:30 pm.)  This family-friendly program is free and open to all ages, kids and adults, but children should be supervised by caregivers. We will offer different games daily led by staff for kids and senior citizens.  Check the library’s summer reading calendar for further details or contact the Information Desk at (309) 697-3822 x.13.

The Alpha Park Library and the Village of Bartonville are proud to bring 3 concerts to the Alpha Park this summer!  Concerts will be from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at the Alpha Park pavilions.  Bring your blankets and lawn chairs or grab a park picnic table and enjoy a musical sunset.  FREE & open to the public!  Food will be provided by Nacho Mama’s Food Truck and LGSA concessions.
