The application of henna paste to the skin in order to make a design for cultural, religious, or special occasion adoration is called MENDHI. Commonly used in wedding ceremonies in Middle Eastern countries, its popularity is growing in the United States as a way to express oneself through design, on a temporary basis. Join us at the library for a chance to try this art yourself.
Thursday, June 13; 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Feeling crafty? Join us before the monthly Teen Board meeting in June to try your hand at making something fun and unique.
Thursday, June 13; 7:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Teen Board members must be in 7th through 12th grades and have a library card. Show up at the next meeting or call Youth Services at 697-3822, ext. 14 for more information.
