BOOK A TRIP: SUMMER READING PROGRAM FOR ADULTS
SIGN UP BEGINS: Tuesday, June 3rd; 1:00–4:00 p.m.
Summer is finally here and our thoughts turn to opportunities for relaxation, travel and leisure reading. Although we may not be traveling to far off places, books can take us anyplace we want to go. In Book a Trip, the library keeps a record of how many hours you read, makes suggestions for further reading and offers weekly prizes. All older adults are welcome and encouraged to attend this fun program!

BOOK DISCUSSION
Thursday, June 5th; 7:00-8:00 p.m.
Book Selection: I Capture the Castle, by Dodie Smith - First published in 1948, Smith tells the story of seventeen-year-old Cassandra who lives in a dilapidated castle in Suffolk with her eccentric family. The book discussion is open to all interested adults.
**Copies of book are available at the Check-Out Desk one month before the discussion date.

RED CROSS BABYSITTING COURSE
Thursday & Friday, June 5th & 6th; 1:00-4:00 p.m.
The Red Cross Babysitter’s Training Course prepares youth in basic child care, safe play, first aid and emergency action skills. Students should be 11 years old by the class date. The cost of the course is $50. Please register by calling the American Red Cross at 677-7272.
